  • Parent’s email address.

About the Child being monitored via CyberNanny:

  • We do not collect the real name of the child. Parents may use any nickname;
  • Profile avatar — any image chosen by the parent, not required to be a photo of the child.

Additionally, we collect device usage data necessary for the parental control features:

  • Location data via GPS, Wi-Fi, or cellular triangulation;
  • Battery level of the child’s device;
  • App usage statistics (percentage of time used);
  • Contacts stored on the child’s device;
  • Call history (phone numbers and names, if available);
  • Browsing history and YouTube watch history;
  • Messenger history (if the feature is enabled);
  • Phone sound mode;
  • Photos and images stored on the child’s device;
  • Application blocking (usage limits and restrictions);
  • Device statistics (battery, memory, data usage);
  • Installed apps information;
  • Uninstall protection using Device Administrator API;
  • Sound recording near the device (up to 2 meters) by parental request (with on-screen notification on the child’s device).

Collection of Installed Apps and Sensitive Information

Our Service collects the following information from the child’s device:

  • List of installed apps (names and package identifiers);
  • App usage time and launch data;
  • Location and location history;
  • Contacts and call logs;
  • Browsing and YouTube history;
  • Messenger chat history (if enabled);
  • Photos, media files (if enabled);
  • Sound recordings upon parental request (with on-screen notification);
  • Device status (battery, internet, storage, sound mode).

This data is collected solely for the purpose of providing parental control functionalities, such as:

  • Viewing and managing installed apps;
  • Monitoring app usage and online activity;
  • Tracking location and movement history;
  • Monitoring calls, contacts, and messages for child safety;
  • Informing parents about device status (battery, connectivity, memory);
  • Preventing unauthorized removal of the app;

Consent

Data is stored in the Parent’s user dashboard at https://cabinet.thecybernanny.com for 1 calendar month from the date of collection and is then automatically and irreversibly deleted.
